Covid 19 Response

In March 2020 the first cases of COVID – 19 were reported in Kenya. The economic consequences of the pandemic are had a far greater impact on the long-term health, wellbeing, and poverty levels of the population as a whole than the predicted fatalities caused directly by the disease.  85% of our parents, teachers in our programs lost their sources of income making life unbearable.

With the support from our partner ( World Connect), we distributed 200 food packs to 200 families that would last them for 39 days. With the food packs, 1,086 people were able to attain 3 meals a day.
